    Resetting the turn counter

This is a very minor issue - and perhaps it's already something that you can do, and I just don't know how to do it. I play HASL CGs on VASL, and at the end of a CG Date, we use the saved game from the end of the Date to prepare the map for the next Date. This means the saved game somehow...

SaP 2 POMERANIAN FURY VC Question

Maybe it's not supposed to be cumulative, but the main skill in playing the scenario is in not picking the Germans...

    Baz

That's precisely why you put it on a bucket list. OK, here's a potential situation where you might want to go for DI: dry weather, tank moving through a large grain field that absolutely don't want to turn into an impenetrable smoke screen.

Bounding fire armored halftracks and then unloading, can it be done?

Well, a literal interpretation of "vice versa" would be that a unit that unloads may not fire as Passenger in the same phase, but that seems a bit silly. So I'll accept your version.

A21.15 Detection and A12.151 : bypassing and defender revealing himself

TPBF applies to a unit in the same location, but as far as I know, a building/woods hex has only one ground-level Location; a bypassing unit is in this Location even if it is not in the obstacle itself. So TPBF shoud apply from any unit in the (ground level) of the bypassed hex.

A21.15 Detection and A12.151 : bypassing and defender revealing himself

The Q&A quoted in the thread that von Marwitz found, says that if the concealed unit drops concealment after the moving unit announces its bypass (but doesn't fire), this won't bump it back - it just has to move to another hex. So, if you want to bounce it back, you need to drop concealment...

So what scenarios have you played Recently?

I played this scenario quite a few times, with each side, and never saw the Germans try the same type of setup - though with various amounts of concentrating on seizing the farm. The games were always rather exciting, and the scenario appeared pretty well balanced; if this strategy "breaks" it...

    Broken Ground Design Thread

I always wondered whether this choice was made mostly so the whole map would be brown instead of a cheerful green, or if they really wanted to avoid making the banks of the Volga in a depression color like what is used on board 24.

eHASL rulebook and erulebook not connecting

Well, with the electronic ASL products, you get free updates - your rulebook may not be in a nice binder or a big book, but it does get corrections and updates whenever available. If you often play in a situation where you have a computer at hand (a big case being VASL), it's a very valuable...

eHASL rulebook and erulebook not connecting

I suppose the reason is more commercial than technical - some people will only buy one of the two. And, if a concatenated version were to be made available for customers who bought both, I assume all the links would have to be redone.

    Paths exiting along hexsides?

If the path is made to clearly cross one of the hexsides, then I'd argue that moving in non-bypass mode from G19 to either G20 or F19 should be possible at the path rate. The picture as shown would probably be interpreted by most players as allowing path use only to/from bypass in G20 or F19...

eHASL rulebook and erulebook not connecting

I downloaded the latest versions of both the eASLRB et eHASLRB, and under Linux, using evince (my default PDF reader), links between the two (INHERIT_ZOOM version) seem to work correctly. Two quirks: when I let my mouse pointer hover on a link, it normally shows me a preview of the (top of) the...

FT use in bounding first fire

IIRC, they have something like 14 AF on the front and very weak, possibly 3, on the side, so the bazooka won't work from the front. You absolutely have to plan for these beasts and spread your assets so you'll always have a side shot; their weakness is they have to get extremely close.
