Happy National Chess Day!

We here at GameSquad play all sorts of games, on and off the PC.  One of our favorites is the 'Royal Game', aka Chess! Unfortunately, few people know that President Ford dedicated the ninth day of every October as National Chess Day, a day set aside to....

"To give special recognition to a game that generates challenge, intellectual stimulation, and enjoyment for citizens of all ages."

If you are familiar with Chess, perhaps today would be a good day to play!  If not, perhaps today is the perfect opportunity to learn the game?  Don't worry, there is a virtual army of chess players more than willing to show you the ropes...especially on National Chess Day!
