EA Teams Up with Del Rey for Special Edition of Dante’s Inferno

Today, Electronic Arts and Del Rey Books announced that a trade-paperback edition of the classic poem Inferno, part one of The Divine Comedy, will be distributed to booksellers nationwide on January 19, 2010. This special edition of the canonized poem commemorates the launch of the highly-anticipated Dante’s Inferno video game from Visceral Games.

According to a recent story on Gamasutra, The Sims 3 has been recognized by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) for its positive depiction of vegetarians and for "animal-friendly achievements in commerce and culture."

BioWare Announces Return to Ostagar DLC

BioWare announced today that the Return to Ostagar downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: Origins will be available for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and PC versions this Holiday season in North America and Europe. The DLC pack, Return to Ostagar, allows players to exact their revenge and embark on a quest for the mighty arms and armor of the once great King Cailan when they revisit Ostagar, the site of the Grey Wardens’ darkest hour, to reclaim the honor and learn the secrets of Ferelden’s fallen king.

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight Hits Shelves Next March

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight brings the 15 year-long fan-beloved Tiberium saga to an epic and stunning conclusion and offers players innovative and compelling strategic depth through its new class-based gameplay, mobile bases and experience system throughout all game modes. EA also announced the first pre-order incentives for Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight. Dante’s Inferno Demo Slated for December

Visceral Games today announced a demo for Dante’s Inferno. Coming this December, the ‘Gates of Hell’ demo includes the entire opening level and gives gamers a taste of Visceral Games’ blockbuster adaptation of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, The Divine Comedy.
